About Tyler
Tyler Baradel has quickly become one of the biggest late risers in the 2026 recruiting class after putting together one of the most impressive junior seasons in the country. The Atlanta native earned selection to the prestigious Navy All-American Bowl following a breakout campaign in which he converted 15-of-21 field goals, including two successful kicks from 51 yards, while finishing 47-of-48 on extra points. His production, combined with his polished mechanics and elite ball striking, firmly established him as one of the nation's premier kicking prospects. Baradel has developed a reputation for producing one of the cleanest footballs in America. He possesses legitimate 60-to-65-yard range in calm conditions, combining effortless power with exceptional consistency and composure. His breakout junior season wasn't a surprise to those who had followed his development—it was simply the year the rest of the country began to notice. As he enters his senior season, Baradel has positioned himself among the nation's top specialists and looks poised to build on one of the strongest statistical résumés in the 2026 class.
KT Evaluation
Evaluated Jul 24, 2026Tyler Baradel's greatest strength is the quality of his contact. Few kickers in the country consistently strike a cleaner football. His operation is smooth, compact, and technically efficient, allowing him to generate outstanding power without sacrificing accuracy or balance. Baradel does an exceptional job of getting through the football, creating a naturally extended finish that produces outstanding trajectory, tight end-over-end rotation, and effortless carry. The football simply explodes off his foot with very little wasted movement. His range is among the best in America. Baradel has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to connect from 60 to 65 yards with no wind, reflecting the type of natural leg strength that projects exceptionally well to the collegiate level. Unlike many power kickers, however, he never appears to force the football. His mechanics remain relaxed and repeatable, allowing his technique to create elite distance naturally. What impressed KT Recruiting most during his junior season was how his physical tools translated to Friday nights. Baradel converted 15 field goals, knocked through two kicks from 51 yards, and finished 47-of-48 on extra points, proving he can consistently execute in game situations. His breakout campaign validated what evaluators had seen on the showcase circuit and firmly established him as one of the nation's top kickers. Beyond the physical tools, Baradel possesses the mental makeup coaches want leading their special teams unit. He remains composed in high-pressure situations, trusts his preparation, and rarely allows the moment to affect his operation. That calm confidence consistently shows up when the game is on the line. KT Recruiting Evaluation Tyler Baradel is one of the biggest late risers in the 2026 recruiting cycle, and for good reason. His outstanding junior production, elite ball striking, polished mechanics, and legitimate 60-plus-yard range make him one of the most complete kickers in the class. Earning Navy All-American Bowl honors further validates his emergence on the national stage. We believe Baradel is just scratching the surface of his potential. His technical refinement, confidence, and proven ability to perform under pressure project extremely well to the college game. As his body continues to mature and his leg strength develops even further, he has every opportunity to become an impact Power Four kicker with long-term professional upside.
