Ulysses Morales is simply one of the purest kickers in this class. Everything about his operation looks effortless. His tempo is smooth, his swing path is compact and repeatable, and he consistently drives through the football with outstanding balance. He generates excellent power without appearing to force the kick, allowing his natural leg speed and clean mechanics to do the work. Morales is an exceptional ball striker whose contact quality separates him from many of his peers. The football consistently jumps off his foot with a clean rotation and outstanding trajectory, making his operation highly efficient. His strong, physical frame provides an excellent foundation for continued development, and there’s every reason to believe even more leg strength is still coming. What makes Morales so intriguing is how naturally everything comes together. There is very little wasted movement throughout his operation, and his mechanics project extremely well to the college level. His combination of size, technique, and effortless power gives him one of the highest developmental ceilings in the class. KT Recruiting Evaluation Ulysses Morales is knocking on the door of becoming a KT Recruiting Five-Star prospect. We believe a strong senior season could easily push him into that conversation. His game reminds us of David Olano—a smooth, powerful ball striker who dominated at Illinois before earning a transfer to Texas A&M and a significant NIL opportunity. Morales possesses many of those same traits: a strong frame, effortless leg talent, and the ability to make difficult kicks look routine. If Morales puts together the senior season we’re expecting, don’t be surprised to see his recruitment take another significant jump. In our opinion, he has all the physical tools and technical polish to develop into one of the premier specialists in college football.
